League Play FAQs:


Q-Can I get booted from my home bar by a travel team?
A-Absolutely not. Teams traveling are recorded separately. So only the points they score in their home bar as a home team can be used.

Q-What's the advantage of travel?
A-You double your chances of going to the tournament. Top 10 travel teams are guaranteed a place at the finals.

Q-What happens if I win in travel and my home bar?
A-We take the top ten travel teams first. If you are in the top 10 travel, we take the next highest scoring home team from your home bar.

Q-What if I miss a week and fall behind in my home bar?
A-Use your get out of free jail card.

Q-My home bar has 2 nights. How does the league work?
A-If your home bar has 2 nights, you can play on both nights and you will get the best of the 2 scores recorded. The second score will be applied to travel.

Q-What’s a bonus bar and how does it work?
A-**We randomly select bonus bars every day of the week based on area. The bonus bars are good for travel teams as they can gain 10 extra points for playing at a bonus bar. Bonus points don't count for home team locations unless it's for a fundraiser. If you travel to a bonus or a double bonus bar show and the show gets cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, we will give you your bonus points plus your average score at that point. You must let us know by the next day.

Q-What if my home bar cancels a week due to circumstances beyond our control?
A- home league points are awarded and it levels the playing field for everyone. Get out of free jail cards can’t be used for this week.

Q-What if my home bar ceases to do trivia at their location?
A-**We really hope that doesn't happen but if it does, you will retain your league number and pick a new home bar taking your league number with you. You will continue to compete with the leagues that were in your home bar even though you may not all be playing at the same location.
